Supervisor Training Introduction The Massachusetts Association of Conservation Districts offers basic and continuing education modules that can be used to train district supervisors and staff the fundamental principles and operations of conservation districts. These learning modules are accessible to all who find them useful. Additional modules will be added over time to provide continuing education opportunities, and existing material will be refreshed to keep up to date with the times. Each module consists of a learning element and a test in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format. For certification, completed tests should be sent by email or mail to the address listed. A score of 80% for each module is considered successful. A certificate will be issued to Massachusetts supervisors and staff for the successful completion of each module, and a training record will be maintained by MACD. Live seminars will be offered by MACD periodically in district venues to supplement these on-line training modules. Questions & suggestions should be addressed to MACD Executive Director Don Lewis at don_lewis@post.harvard.edu |
